Updating (Recycling): The employer must conduct periodic training Annually and whenever any of the following situations occur:
a) change in work procedures, conditions or operations;
b) event that indicates the need for new training;
c) return from work leave for a period exceeding ninety days;
d) change of company;
e) Exchange of machine or equipment.

Our pedagogical project follows the guidelines imposed by Regulatory Standard nº1.

Attention: The Course teaches how to Apply the normative concepts of the standard, which enables you to sign Projects, Reports, Expertise, etc. these are the attributions that the (a) Legally Qualified Professional has with their Class Council, such as CREA.
This course aims to study situations where it will be necessary to apply: Concepts and Calculations according to relevant standards and does not replace the analysis and responsibility on the part of each professional accredited by CREA or other Class Councils in the most varied situations, where makes it imperative to respect the conservation conditions of equipment, periodic checking of instruments, as well as respect for the primary capacity predetermined by the PPE manufacturers, among others based on the corresponding Standards.

Certificate: The Certificate will be issued to each participant who reaches the minimum achievement of 70% (theoretical and practical) as recommended by the Regulatory Standards.

Heads up:
NR-12.1.16 The crane equipment that receive coupled baskets for lifting people must be subjected to periodic tests and inspections in order to ensure its proper functioning and its structural integrity.
12.1.16.1 Tests that prove the structural integrity, such as ultrasound and/or acoustic emission, must be carried out, according to ABNT NBR 14768:2015.
12.3.17 It is prohibited to move loads suspended on the hook of the hoisting equipment simultaneously with the movement of people inside the coupled basket.

Causes of Work Accident:
Lack of alert from the employer;
Lack of employee care;
Even carrying out all the mandatory Training and Occupational Health and Safety Reports in the event of an accident at work, the employer will be subject to processes such as:
Police Inquiry – Civil Police;
Expertise through Instituto Criminalista;
Verification procedure at the Regional Labor Office;
Public Civil Inquiry before the Public Ministry of labor to verify that other workers are not in danger;
The INSS will question the cause of the accident that could be avoided and refuse to pay the benefit to the employee;
Family members may file a lawsuit in the Labor Court claiming pain and suffering, material damage, dislocation, etc.;
Procedural Tsunami forcing the Employer to generate a Defense Strategy even though it is right;
Although the Labor Delegation Law does not provide that “culpa en vigilando” applies, but only the responsibility to deliver the equipment, however it is worth emphasizing that the Employer is also responsible for overseeing;

LAW No. 5.194, OF 24 DEC 1966 – CONFEA:
“Section III
Illegal exercise of profession
Art. 6 – Illegally exercises the profession of engineer, architect or agronomist:
a) the natural or legal person who performs acts or provides services, public or private, reserved for the professionals dealt with in this Law and who do not have registration in the Regional Councils:
b) the professional who undertakes activities outside the attributions listed in his/her registration;
c) the professional who lends his name to persons, firms, organizations or companies performing works and services without his real participation in their work;
d) the professional who, suspended from exercising, continues in activity;
e) the firm, organization or society that, as a legal entity, exercises duties reserved for professionals in Engineering, Architecture and Agronomy, in breach of the provisions of the sole paragraph of Article 8 of this Law.”

Important:
If necessary, the use of Lifting Machines and Equipment is MANDATORY, immediately before the movement, to carry out:
01 – Preparation of the APR (Preliminary Risk Analysis)
02 – Work Permit (PT);
03 – Check EPIs and EPCs;
04 – Check the Machine or Equipment Operational and Maintenance Instruction Manual;
04 – Check the Technical Inspection Report of the Equipment and Anchorage Points with ART;
05 – Maintain Equipped Rescue Team;
06 – Safety meeting on the operation with those involved, contemplating the activities that will be developed, the work process, risks and protection measures, according to risk analysis, contained in a document to be filed containing the legible name and signature of the participants;
a) Visual inspection;
b) Checking the operation of the radio;
c) Confirmation that the signals are known to everyone involved in the transaction.
07- The safety meeting must instruct the entire work team, among others involved in the operation, at least about the following hazards:
a) Impact with external structures;
b) Unexpected movement;
c) fall from height;
d) Other specifics associated with the lift.

12.8 Transportadores de materiais.
Os movimentos perigosos dos transportadores contínuos de materiais, acessíveis durante a operação normal, devem ser protegidos, especialmente nos pontos de esmagamento, agarramento e aprisionamento.
Os transportadores contínuos de correia cuja altura da borda da correia que transporta a carga esteja superior a 2,70 m (dois metros e setenta centímetros) do piso estão dispensados da observância do subitem 12.8.1, desde que não haja circulação nem permanência de pessoas nas zonas de perigo.
Os transportadores contínuos de correia em que haja proteção fixa distante, associada a proteção móvel intertravada que restrinja o acesso a pessoal especializado para a realização de inspeções, manutenções e outras intervenções necessárias, estão dispensados da observância do subitem 12.8.1, desde que atendido o disposto no subitem 12.5.13.
Os transportadores contínuos de correia, cuja altura da borda da correia que transporta a carga esteja superior a 2,70 m (dois metros e setenta centímetros) do piso, devem possuir, em toda a sua extensão, passarelas em ambos os lados, atendidos os requisitos do item 3 do Anexo III desta NR.
Os transportadores cuja correia tenha largura de até 762 mm (setecentos e sessenta e dois milímetros) ou 30 (trinta) polegadas podem possuir passarela em apenas um dos lados, devendo-se adotar o uso de plataformas móveis ou elevatórias para quaisquer intervenções e inspeções.
Os transportadores móveis articulados em que haja possibilidade de realização de quaisquer intervenções e inspeções a partir do solo ficam dispensados da exigência do subitem 12.8.2. Ficam dispensados da obrigatoriedade do cumprimento dos subitens 12.8.2 e 12.8.2.1 os transportadores contínuos de correia cuja manutenção e/ou inspeção seja realizada por meio de plataformas móveis ou elevatórias, atendidos os requisitos do item 4 do Anexo III desta NR. Os transportadores de materiais somente devem ser utilizados para o tipo e capacidade de carga para os quais foram projetados.
Os cabos de aço, correntes, eslingas, ganchos e outros elementos de suspensão ou tração e suas conexões devem ser adequados ao tipo de material e dimensionados para suportar os esforços solicitantes.
Nos transportadores contínuos de materiais que necessitem de parada durante o processo é proibida a reversão de movimento para esta finalidade.
É proibida a permanência e a circulação de pessoas sobre partes em movimento, ou que possam ficar em movimento, dos transportadores de materiais, quando não projetadas para essas finalidades.
Nas situações em que haja inviabilidade técnica do cumprimento do disposto no subitem 12.8.6, devem ser adotadas medidas que garantam a paralisação e o bloqueio dos movimentos de risco, conforme o disposto nos subitens 12.11.3 e 12.11.3.1.
A permanência e a circulação de pessoas sobre os transportadores contínuos devem ser realizadas por meio de passarelas com sistema de proteção contra quedas, conforme item 7 do Anexo III desta NR.
Os transportadores contínuos acessíveis aos trabalhadores devem dispor, ao longo de sua extensão, de dispositivos de parada de emergência, de modo que possam ser acionados em todas as posições de trabalho.
Os transportadores contínuos acessíveis aos trabalhadores ficam dispensados do cumprimento da exigência do subitem 12.8.7 se a análise de risco assim indicar.
Nos transportadores contínuos de correia cujo desalinhamento anormal da correia ou sobrecarga de materiais ofereçam riscos de acidentes, devem existir dispositivos que garantam a segurança em caso de falha durante sua operação normal e interrompam seu funcionamento quando forem ultrapassados os limites de segurança, conforme especificado em projeto. Durante o transporte de materiais suspensos, devem ser adotadas medidas de segurança visando a garantir que não haja pessoas sob a carga.
As medidas de segurança previstas no subitem 12.8.9 devem priorizar a existência de áreas exclusivas para a circulação de cargas suspensas devidamente delimitadas e sinalizadas.
É permitida a permanência e a circulação de pessoas sob os transportadores contínuos somente em locais protegidos que ofereçam resistência e dimensões adequadas contra quedas de materiais.
No transporte de materiais por meio de teleférico dentro da unidade fabril, é permitida a circulação de pessoas, devendo ser adotadas medidas de segurança que garantam a não permanência de trabalhadores sob a carga.
No transporte de materiais por meio de teleférico em área que não seja de propriedade ou domínio da empresa, fica dispensada a obrigação dos subitens 12.8.9, 12.8.9.1 e 12.8.9.2, desde que garantida a sinalização de advertência e sem prejuízo da observância do disposto nas legislações pertinentes nas esferas federal, estadual e municipal.

12.8 Material Conveyors.
The hazardous movements of continuous material conveyors, accessible during normal operation, must be protected, especially at points of crushing, gripping and trapping.
Continuous conveyor belts whose height of the belt edge carrying the load is greater than 2.70 m (two meters and seventy centimeters) from the floor are exempt from compliance with sub-item 12.8.1, provided that there is no movement or permanence of people in danger zones.
Continuous belt conveyors in which there is fixed distant protection, associated with interlocked mobile protection that restricts access to specialized personnel to carry out inspections, maintenance and other necessary interventions, are exempt from complying with sub-item 12.8.1, provided that the provided for in sub-item 12.5.13.
Continuous conveyor belts, whose height of the edge of the belt that transports the load is greater than 2.70 m (two meters and seventy centimeters) from the floor, must have, throughout their entire length, walkways on both sides, with the requirements of item 3 of Annex III of this NR.
Conveyors whose belts have a width of up to 762 mm (seven hundred and sixty-two millimeters) or 30 (thirty) inches may have a walkway on only one side, and the use of mobile or lifting platforms must be adopted for any interventions and inspections.
Mobile articulated conveyors in which there is the possibility of carrying out any interventions and inspections from the ground are exempt from the requirement of sub-item 12.8.2. Conveying belt conveyors whose maintenance and/or inspection is carried out by means of mobile or elevating platforms, meeting the requirements of item 4 of Annex III of this NR are exempt from the obligation to comply with sub-items 12.8.2 and 12.8.2.1. Material carriers must only be used for the type and load capacity for which they are designed.
Steel cables, chains, slings, hooks and other suspension or traction elements and their connections must be suitable for the type of material and dimensioned to withstand the efforts required.
On continuous material conveyors that need to be stopped during the process, reversal of movement for this purpose is prohibited.
The permanence and movement of people on parts in motion, or that may remain in motion, of material carriers, when not designed for these purposes, is prohibited.
In situations where it is technically impracticable to comply with the provisions of sub-item 12.8.6, measures must be adopted to ensure the stoppage and blocking of risk movements, as provided for in sub-items 12.11.3 and 12.11.3.1.
The permanence and movement of people on the continuous transporters must be carried out by means of walkways with a fall protection system, as per item 7 of Annex III of this NR.
Continuous conveyors accessible to workers must have, along their length, emergency stop devices, so that they can be activated in all working positions.
Continuous carriers accessible to workers are exempt from complying with the requirement of sub-item 12.8.7 if the risk analysis so indicates.
On continuous belt conveyors whose abnormal misalignment of the belt or overloading of materials poses risks of accidents, there must be devices that ensure safety in case of failure during their normal operation and stop their operation when the safety limits are exceeded, as specified in the project . During the transport of suspended materials, safety measures must be taken to ensure that no people are under the load.
The security measures provided for in sub-item 12.8.9 must prioritize the existence of exclusive areas for the circulation of suspended loads, duly delimited and signaled.
The permanence and movement of people under continuous conveyors is only allowed in protected places that offer adequate strength and dimensions against falling materials.
When transporting materials by cable car within the manufacturing unit, the movement of people is allowed, and safety measures must be adopted to ensure that workers do not remain under the load.
When transporting materials by cable car in an area that is not owned or controlled by the company, the obligation of sub-items 12.8.9, 12.8.9.1 and 12.8.9.2 is waived, provided that warning signs are guaranteed and without prejudice to compliance the provisions of relevant legislation at the federal, state and municipal levels.
